What’s it all about?

Motherhood has not been as smooth a journey as I had hoped for. But in the process I have found ways of coming back and redesigning myself into a more authentic and present person. The saying is true, happy mum, happy family!

I believe that we all have the proclivity towards living our best authentic self and with that belief, I’m trying everyday to not just find my old self, but look for new ways to living a new life.

This new mindset has freed me up in ways I never thought possible. I now don’t have the pressures of sticking to my old self as reference togo back to. Instead, i’m working towards an improved version of who I can. A Leopard Mum 2.0! What I found was in the very design process of freedom, has allowed for my old self to emerge naturally. However, this time… I get to choose. I get the final say of what I’ll allow to stick and what I’d prefer to slide. We owe it to ourselves to allow ourselves to learn and start over each new day, as we allow our kids to do the same.

So here’s to the Leopard mum blog with it’s hope to cover topics of self discovery, body confidence, current affairs pertaining to topics of interest to us and of course the sole of the blog which discusses paving the way for new parenting practices. Welcoming my personal opinions, trails and experiments on parenting the Leopard mum way.
